Geography
Forset biomes make up 75% of Earth's biomass. But the coniferous, or taiga, biome is the largest land biomes. There are Coniferous Biomes in Europe, Asia, Siberia, and North-America.
Coniferous ecosystems are found in regions of the Earth that experience quite long and cold winters, with summer being quite a bit shorter. Which makes it no surprise that these biomes are more common the closer you travel toward Earth's poles. This biome is also commonly found high atop mountains where temperatures tend to be lower and winter tends to last longer.
Coniferous forest landforms vary, depending upon the location, and may include mountains, valleys, rolling hills, or flat plateaus. The boreal forest landscape is dotted with wetlands, lakes, and ponds. Unique to the Canadian and Alaskan forest is the muskeg, a type of bog or marsh with thick layers of decaying plant matter. The muskeg looks like moss-covered ground but is so wet and spongy that hikers sink and trees often wobble in the unstable soil.
Some cites in the the Coniferous forests in Russia/Siberia are Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Perm, and Susuman. Countries in Europe like Norway, Sweden, and Finland are part of the Coniferous biomes.
There are many resorts in the coniferous forests . Most of them have activities like skiing, and snowboarding in the winter and hiking and camping for summer months. An example of a site in Romania in the coniferous forest:
